Friday is starting off great!

Star Trek: Into Darkness!! (NO SPOILERS HERE)

All in all I enjoyed the 'Star Trek: Into the Darkness.'  It was a really fun ride!  I'm hoping to see it again in IMAX... MAX... max... (max)

Definitely a shorts kind of weekend.

It hit triple digits this weekend in LA!  Luckily I spent some cool down time at Punchbowl, a quaint smoothie shop in Los Feliz, recommended to me by friend and fellow Battle Milker, David Le Merrer. 

Mr. Rogers

Mr. Rogers Neighborhood is the first TV show I remember ever watching.  I was so young that I wasn't even living in California yet.  I thought he was actually a member of my family... a small grainy family member.  I've been reading his book Life's Journeys According to Mr. Rogers:  Things to Remember Along the Way.  It's hopeful to think that someone this kind and selfless existed, it reminds us that as terrible as people can be, that we are also capable of being better, being good.  I'm gonna go hug my childhood blanket now.
